We had a meal here tonight for my birthday. The food was delicious, well presented and service could not be faulted. Even my 10yr old nephew said he would give it 5 stars and wants to return for another meal soon. Thank you.

For the last month I've been in Edinburgh every weekend, for the autumn rugby internationals. I've been to many indian restaurants there. None of these curries matched up to the quality of the curries at the Learney. This restaurant is fantastic.

Another outstanding meal for the team at the Learney Arms Indian Restaurant.
I take my crew out twice a year: at the end of summer and at Christmas. The Learney is our regular go-to.
food is fantastic, absolutely the best I have had.
Service is impeccable but not too hard or officious; there is a human element and it is friendly.
The decor and atmosphere are great.
Thank you again Learney for looking after me and my team

Genuinely the best Indian Restaurant in the North East! They have all the classics, and loads of other delicious dishes which I haven’t seen/ tried at other restaurants. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

A hidden gem
Yummy food with great atmosphere, we went for butter chicken, the curry was so delicious and the chicken tender, loved the naan bread and poppadoms too. Attentive staff who made us feel welcome 🙏

Excellent atmosphere, we tried the pizzas for the first time this evening and I have to say, absolutely delicious! We were well looked after, the finger food that was made specifically for us during our pool match was unexpected but a lovely touch and very tasty.

Very disappointed. The last take away I has here was short an item. This one, which I ordered at 4.45 to collect at 5.45 and arrives for at 5.40 was stone cold. Obviously has been cooked when I placed the order and was waiting around. Also, the dishes are more and more like soup, with half a dozen pieces.of meat thrown in . Won't be going back. Used to be great, not so much now
